Lassie is an attractive shrub rose showing semi-double flowers in multiple sprays like a floribunda. It's a tough and easy to grow bush that tolerates shade admirably. The leaves are a rather dull green and the blooms lean towards lilac instead of lavender. The bush is so covered with flowers it reminds me of one big cheerleader pom pom. You could grow it as a climber too but I prefer to train it as a thick, sturdy shrub tucking it into a corner amidst companion plants.
